I have a first class education and have spent 20 years flying helicopters in the military on combat operations.  My military career saw me triumph (and fail) as a leader, team player, risk manager,  strategist, mentor and facilitator. This included multiple combat front line tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.     


So I know how to excel in a dynamic and highly pressured environment.  


This is what 20 years of leadership in military war zones has taught me:
- confident capable people don’t always feel as strong as they look
- personal resilience and fulfilment is NOT instinctive
- BUT humans have an amazing capacity to adapt, grow AND flourish even in the toughest conditions...when we know how. 


I was inspired by the extraordinary people I served alongside in the militany and this ultimately led to me pivoting from flying helicopters to setting up own coaching and speaking business. I understand that sometimes it’s difficult to know where to go for support when tackling difficult situations or making life-changing decisions, particularly when your job relies on you “having all the answers.” So I set up Well Be It SPECIFICALLY to help high functioning leaders get the support they need without losing face or feeling like they are “broken” (because they’re not.)


A little bit about how I  work - I use what I call “military grade mindfulness” to help individuals use their impressive (but often mischievous) brains as “force for good”.  My approach is robust, good-humoured and straight to the point.  As a result my methods are sought out and applauded by fast critical thinkers.
